John Taylor acquired a wealth of experience, knowledge and skills relating to management, sales, marketing and public relations through his involvement in private and public sector entities, unlisted and JSE listed companies, as well as civic and public service organisations. His career included spells at The Urban Foundation, Stocks & Stocks and the Linton and Bestcape Groups of companies. He also served as a trustee of the Endangered Wildlife Trust for a number of years and as Chairperson of the Melkbosstrand Ratepayers' Association as well as the Community Police Forum and Neighbourhood Watch.
